Student innovation takes center stage

The SCORE Showdown at Auburn University welcomed 76 elite VEX Robotics teams from nine states for three days of high-level competition, collaboration and innovation. Hosted by the Southeastern Center of Robotics Education with support from Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, the event highlighted hands-on engineering, teamwork and pathways to the global VEX World Championship.

Uniting Alabama’s STEM education ecosystem

More than 400 educators, industry leaders, students and STEM organizations convened in Birmingham for the first-ever Summit for Alabama STEM Education and Workforce.
